John 6.22-44
The feeding of the five thousand was a setting of the discourse on Jesus is the Bread of Life. The people went in search for Jesus and found Him on the other side of the lake. He told them that they were seeking Him becasue they ate the loaves from the miracle and had their fill He told them to work for fodd that does not spoils that endure to eternal life. He reminded them that God gave manna to the Israelites while they were in the wilderness. The bread of Life from God gives eternal life. In verse 35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst. (NKJV)
