John 16
Jesus continue his warning that the world will hate his diciple. He also spoke about the Holy Spirit. He had to leave so that the Holy Spirit would come as we saw on the day of Pentecost. The holy Spirit is the one who will convict us of sin, He guide us in all truths, and bring glory to Christ.
He comforted the disciples. In a short time, they would mourn, but they will be comforted, he gave the analogy of a woman in labor for hours, but when the baby is born, she will be joyful. We need to have this perspective in our lives to see things the way how Jesus sees them.
